Constantius II, 337-361. Solidus (Gold, 22 mm, 4.47 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 338/9. FL IVL CONSTAN-TIVS PERP AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / SMANΓ Victory seated right on shield and cuirass, inscribing VOT / XV / MVLT XX on shield set on her left knee and supported by small cupid on the right. Depeyrot 5/3. RIC 25. Rare. An attractive coin with a particularly fine Antiochian portrait. Very light scratch on the nose, otherwise, good extremely fine.
